Night vision is not typically my thing as I am more into micro cameras and traditional IR flood lights used in security.
My question is that on these beacons we have tested them well at close range using basic modified camera gear, but for point to point surveillance at a range of 1- miles I’m wondering what’s best. Given the strobes emit a huge pulse from 8 LEDs, I’m wondering what should do the trick to simply be able to wear or use that would easy pick up on these when they trigger in a valley floor scenario with watchers up top?
I had tried most of these products and cica care worked best and I’ll tell you why.
Yes cica care is thicker than others, but I think that’s why I had the best results. I think it’s the thickness that is able to heal larger scars much better. My cesarean is barely visible since using it, though to be honest I am extremely patient and used it for one year, 24 hours a day, except when I showered, I used to take it off. They worked AMAZING and I had no problem keeping them on as they were always under my clothes. The thinner strips and brands would work better on the exposed parts of the body and face I guess. But anything like breast surgery or tummy tuck etc, I would definitely recommend cica care. The more severe the scar, the thicker the silicon strip I guess.
Also, while I do NoT recommend you do it, I’ve shot 20 rounds of .380 perfecta fmj out of my keltec 9. Guess what, it functioned fine and no problem shooting 9mm immediately afterwards. It’s not a practice I would recommend but, in an emergency I will work and nooooooo one got hurt and no elmer keith fudd lovers can debate it. To say the TCP trigger is mush tells me you don’t know what you are talking about. It’s a smooth and consistent trigger the whole way. It’s so good the LCP gen 2 now had the same features. They finally lock to the rear on the last round, have improved sights and yeah no hurculean effort to pull their triggers. The TCP is the most underrated 380 on the market today. Period. Buy one on sale for $179 and get the Pearce extension. Break it i and grease the rails ever so slightly afterwards. They are phenomenally good if you shoot at all. Weighs oz empty and has a slightly longer barrel than most. Good to 15-20 yards as designed. Easy and consistent trigger. Goes boom with every pull and made in Miami. Grow up, read, try for yourself. They are excellent and are the least expensive out there. The new Ruger LCP now has the same features. Forget the LCP gen 1.
