I had three injections all of which worked for a few days to two weeks then stopped. The excruciating pain returned and only Vicoden 5 mg 3-4 times a day controlled the pain. Vicoden at that dose is the lowest dose prescribed. it worked perfectly for several years and doctors refused to prescribed opioids for fear of losing their license. My sister recently died of throat cancer and she complained constantly of pain. She died with unrelieved pain. As a cancer patient she was prescribed Morphine 2 mg. every 6 hours. That is beyond ridiculous but keeps our doctor’s license safe. Our doctors are violating their Hippocratic oath – Do No Harm. They had added a caveat “except when the government is breathing down your neck. Then the patient be damned. I am glad this helped you Randy. I don’t know your clinical status but I am sure it differs from mine. Do you have severe and crippling arthritis?
Women who have had the Platelet-Rich Plasma Facelift treatment find their faces look even better several months after they have had the treatments. That’s because the plasma stimulates their skin’s stem cells to produce more collagen, grow new cells and literally rejuvenate their skin. The new cell growth in your skin generated by the Platelet Rich Plasma takes weeks to months, which is why it looks so much better after more time passes. Botox and other filler treatments break down with time, but the Platelet Rich Plasma lasts and looks better as long as 18 months to two years. The FDA has not imposed regulations on the use of PRP because it come from the patient’s own body and is not a drug. The use of PRP with other substances and some systems that prepare the PRP for use have been FDA cleared, so make certain the one your doctor recommends is one of them.
I found out at 17 weeks that i had a huge aneurysm in my heart and if I stayed pregnant, the baby would be premature. We kept the baby and so at 24 weeks they gave me the betamethasone in case I had to have the baby before 28 weeks. At 27 weeks I went into the hospital for monitoring so at 28 weeks I got a booster of the shots. at 28 weeks 2 days they discovered that my aorta had a tear in it, so I had an emergency csection (and heart surgery at the same time). My son is now 13 days old and was only briefly on a ventilator (until they realized he was out performing it). So he's been breathing on his own since birth. I'd say go for the shots.
